The Color Co. is a creative studio led by artists Carlie Foreman and Maggie Young. We design and paint murals, signage, and create immersive art experiences for businesses, public spaces, events, and homes—helping people bring their environments to life in a way that reflects their story.
With over 30 years of combined experience, our work is rooted in craftsmanship, color, and thoughtful design. Whether we’re creating a large-scale mural, hand-painted signage, or a custom installation inside a home, we approach each project with care for both the space and the people it’s made for.

Co-Founder
Maggie Young is a force of color and composition, crafting vibrant, immersive designs. She transforms blank spaces with dynamic forms and movement. Experienced in interactive and community-driven art, Maggie creates pieces that invite engagement while enhancing their surroundings.
Carlie Foreman
Co-Founder
Carlie Foreman is a professionally trained fine artist specializing in murals, signage, hand lettering, and public art. Alongside her artistic practice, she has honed skills in operations, public programming, and event planning through work with Arts For Lawrence, Big Car Collaborative, and Chreece.
